Solar power

In 2023, we completed the installation of 1,000 solar panels at our warehouse which generate almost half a megawatt of power each year. By investing more than £500,000 into renewable energy, we have been able to completely power our facility in a clean way that does not require the use of any fossil fuels.

In fact, our solar panels produce so much power that we even have excess to sell back to the National Grid and help power other businesses around us.

Installing this solar panel array was just one way in which we are aiming to reach Net Zero carbon by 2030.

Electric vehicles

Another way that we prioritise environmental responsibility is through making our daily operations more energy efficient. Solar power for the buildings is one good step, but we are also investing to electrify our fleet of heavy goods vehicles and forklift machinery.

By doing so, we will be able to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels even further and offer an eco-friendly warehousing, transport and logistics service to customers from our base at Wrexham Industrial Estate.

Heating and hot water

The final step in cutting out fossil fuels is the electrification of our heating and hot water system to remove the need to oil burning systems entirely. That work is ongoing and once complete, will cut our carbon emissions even further.
